Rev. Alan Saunders
Bro. Saunders assists in the pastoral duties under the direction of Pastor McCoy. He assists in pastoral visits and often fills the pulpit in the pastor's absence. He also serves Sunday School Superintendent and teaches the Crusaders for Christ Adult Sunday School Class. He helps in our media production including video, sound, printed media, and graphic production for our church ministries.
Bro. Saunders also serves as the Missions Director. He oversees the world-wide missions program of Peoples Baptist Church. Currently our church supports around 200 missionaries or mission projects around the globe. He tracks the projects, goals and accomplishments of our missionaries.
His wife, Mrs. Patti Saunders serves as the Kindergarten Supervisor and teaches K-5 at Peoples Baptist Academy. She and Bro. Saunders have been married for 32 years and have two children. Their son, Nathan serves as a pastor in a growing, thriving church in Montana, and their daughter Bethany lives in Virginia, is married and is a nurse.
