The PBC Choir, under the direction of Ray Turner, was a huge blessing at the Statewide Fellowship Meeting at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle in Jonesboro, GA. The choir sang two songs: "This World is not My Home" and "The Midnight Cry." Both songs feature Ryan Turner singing solos with the choir. About ten folks from Harvest joined with our choir in singing. When the choir was finished, the church was standing and applauding and Brother Arthur asked them to sing "The Midnight Cry" again.
I believe it was such a blessing to all of those in attendance. I want to commend our people for their faithfulness to the Lord and for doing such a great job. You were a blessing to all and the Lord was honored. Thank you for helping the meeting and blessing all the pastors that were there.
Sincerely, Pastor McCoy

A Great Story - The Key Buck
On Thursday, the twenty-third of October, I had the funeral service for Mr. Aubrey Still. Bro. Still was one of the sweetest church members I've ever had. He will definitely be missed.
After the service, my wife and I jumped in a car and rushed to the airport. Both of us were speaking in a couples' retreat in North Carolina. After the plane landed, I received a call from my father. During the funeral service, which he attended, my dad's house had been broken into and robbed. I called some of my staff men for help but all were out doing different things for our ministry. So I called one of our men that I knew could replace his door and secure things for him. The man I called was Devin Key.
Devin seemed elated that I called him and rushed right over to help my dad. Being in another state, it was such a peace of mind to have somebody helping my father. While Devin was there, two of my associates went over to check on my dad, Bro. Ray Turner and Bro. Alan Saunders. Bro. Turner told Devin that God was going to bless him for being so good to God's man. Devin replied and told Bro. Turner that he was about to go hunting when I called, but he would go at another time. Bro. Turner announced to Devin that God would let him kill the biggest buck he ever killed for helping my dad.
The next morning Devin went out and killed an absolute monster. Devin went about half of a mile from his house, in the pouring-down rain, and shot a buck that has gained state-wide attention. Devin's buck should be around the 200-inch mark when it is officially scored. The best we can tell the buck has 26 points. It is a non-typical buck that has drop tines on the back and sticker points all over it.
Yes, it is always right to be good to God's man. My father has been my pastor for most of my life and now is a part of my staff here at Peoples. I congratulate Devin and thank him for being a friend to my dad.
