Bro. Jon Tharp
Bro. Tharp grew up in Illinois and came from a large family of twelve children. He married his wife Allison in 2004 and since then the Lord has blessed them with three children---Josiah, Lillian and Sophia.
Shortly after being married, he worked as the assistant pastor of a Baptist church in central Illinois for seven years. He served primarily as the youth director, but also served in the bus ministry and the music ministry.
The Lord sent the Tharps to PBC in 2010. In August 2011, he began teaching in Peoples Baptist Academy, and in October 2011, he took over as the Youth Director at PBC. It is evident that the Lord has truly given he and his wife a burden for teenagers by their love for them.
