Soulwinning is the Key

Lately, we have rearranged our visitation schedule for the summer and have found it to work really well. We have moved our Thursday night visitation to Wednesday. We meet for dinner from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Then we go out visting and come back for our mid-week service starting at 7:30. This is very beneficial for several reasons. First of all, it provides another night at home for family. Secondly, it helps those ladies that usually have to get home, get supper ready, and then make it on time for church. Thirdly, it saves on gas prices. Fourthly, it creates such an electricity in the air for the prayer meeting service. Folks are coming in from giving out the gospel and with that comes the blessings of the Lord.

Last week my wife Trish, and one of my deacon's wives, Raven Williams, won a lady to the Lord and her two children. This family was in church just an hour later after they had been saved. Just think, brand new Christians in church for the first time since they had been saved. The church was excited and was encouraged to see the gospel at work.

The key to this is to have great participation. We should all be soul conscious. Soulwinning is the key to everything. We are not going to win everyone, but we must be faithful in presenting the gospel. God is good... let's tell the world about our wonderful Jesus.
