UNBELIEVABLE!

On Tuesday night, December 11, we had our annual Peoples Baptist Academy school play. Every year our staff jumps in and goes to work to pull off this great feat. If you have ever seen one of our plays, then you know that it is a major production. We have several goals in putting this together. First of all, we want to include as many students in the school as we possibly can. That means involving over 300 students working together. Secondly, we want it to be fun. This is not a church service; it is a school play. Thirdly, and most importantly, we want to bring honor and glory to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

The building was packed with several standing in the vestibule trying to get in. During the practices you would wonder if it would ever come together, but come together it did. The play was a complete success with superb music and acting. Everyone was blessed at how these kids responded to the task set before them.

There are so many people to thank that I couldn't even begin even to count, but none more than my wife, Trish. She worked so hard pulling the music and drama together. She would be the first to tell you that it could not have happened without all of the staff and students pitching in. But, Dr. Lee Roberson taught us that every thing rises and falls on leadership, and her leadership was evident. One of our businessmen in our church (he has kids in our school) called me the next morning and said that it was the best play we have ever had. I am so thankful for all of those that worked, prayed, and gave of themselves to pull this off. God loves you and I love you. Thanks for a great night!
